SPIRALS UPON SPIRALS

Where do we start and where do we begin? We start at birth on earth and home is Home On Mother Earth (H.O.M.E). One cycle of the sun is one year on Earth. We connect with the cycles of the moon and the sun, which connect with the tides and the winds. We have fire and breath within us. I have listened to many elders describe this in different ways according to their traditions. Grandmother Flordemayo (Maya Grandmother) would say at 52 you are in your fourth cycle (four thirteen year cycles).

"Now is the time to be all that is within you."

The spiral circles around and comes back on itself, going deeper and deeper.

It represents life, creation, birth and rebirth, evolution, awareness, and growth or development. The single spiral stands for the radiance of cosmic energy. It also symbolizes knowledge and perseverance, truly a perfect symbol for people who want to move forward.
